Do I need a passport?
A passport is required for travel to Mexico. Processing times can vary, so we suggest applying early. If it's your first time applying for a passport, you'll need to do so in person.
What currency do they use in Los Cabos?
The peso is Mexico's national currency, though many places in Los Cabos accept U.S. dollars for convenience. Major credit cards are also accepted in most establishments. When you use your credit card it will give you the option to be charged in pesos or dollars. Use pesos since your bank will give you the best exchange rate. Banks offer currency exchange during business hours. Universal ATMs are widely available for cash withdrawals at the current exchange rate, and most ATMs have menus in English. Most ATMs only dispense pesos.
What should I wear?
Both the ceremony and reception will take place outside (cobblestones and lawn). We recommend a wider heel, wedges are a good option!
Can I drink the water in Mexico?
As a rule of thumb, you should stick to bottled or purified water in Mexico. The hotels and restaurants we are recommending only serve purified water and YES, the ice is safe. The key to good health when traveling ANYWHERE is hydration and sunscreen.
Where are the ceremony and the reception taking place?
Ceremony and reception will take place at Querencia Golf Club House – 23405 San José del Cabo, Baja California Sur, Mexico.

What should I do if I can’t make it?
You'll be missed! If you can't make it, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no” so we can plan accordingly.
Can I bring a date?
Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We'll only be able to accommodate those listed on your Save the Date and invitation which will be sent in the following months.
What if I want to get my hair or makeup done?
Most hotels will offer hair and makeup services on site. You can book these services with the hotel’s concierge; all services will need to be booked well in advance. It is almost impossible to book the week of. If you plan on bringing hair and makeup from outside of the hotel, you must request permission and be approved first from the hotel as many hotels do not allow outside vendors.
For those staying at Cabo Surf Hotel, there's a nearby salon called Leo Salon and Spa, which offers full hair and makeup services.
For those staying at Drift Hotel, Gypsy Soul Salon is located right next door which provides professional hair and makeup as well. In both cases, a reservation is required!
Does Los Cabos have Uber?
Yes, Cabo has Uber, but please be aware that after 10:00 PM, there are very few cars available, increasing waiting times and fees. From the airport to the hotel, we recommend booking transportation through Impala since there is no Uber at the airport. Please see the Travel and Accommodations tab for our special wedding rates with Impala.
Can I bring my kids?
While we love to watch children run and play, this is an adult only kind of day ❤️
